When Bristol Autism Support started in 2012, we had no idea that nearly five years later, we’d have over 1,500 people attending our events, following us on Facebook, and joining our mailing list. That’s a lot of people!
We are committed to supporting parents and carers of autistic children (diagnosed and undiagnosed). To achieve this, it’s important for us to know who we’re looking after, where they live and their children’s ages. This allows us to organise support events and activities around where the majority of people are, and kids and family activities that would suit the most children.
The details you provide us will help us to support you better. We will never share your name or contact information with anyone, ever. However, we may use the overall stats (e.g. ‘X% of our parents live in the BS5 area’) in order to help us get funding and improve services for the families we support.
Help us to help you
By joining BAS, you help us to help you. You will also receive our members-only news roundups, and you will get targeted information for your area.
Please note: you do not need to formally join Bristol Autism Support as a member to access our activities, events and website. However, you will need to register to be a part of our Facebook group, as this is strictly for parents and carers of autistic children.
